Types of Information We Collect
Generally, we do not require you to provide any personal information in order to visit the Site or browse many sections of the Site. There are, however, certain sections of the iReuse Site and certain functionalities which are restricted to registered Users, and you are required to provide personal information in order to access these restricted pages.
We collect certain information about your activity on the iReuse system to better understand User activity and how to improve the iReuse system to better serve your needs. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movements around the site and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. In some of our Email messages we use a “click-through URL” linked to content on the iReuse website. When a customer clicks one of these URLs, they pass through our web server before arriving at the destination web page. We track this click-through data to help us determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked, simply avoid clicking text or graphic links in our emails to you.
How we use your information
The information we collect is used to improve the quality of the iReuse Site, Software, and Services, to communicate information about iReuse Services and products to you, to charge your credit card the iReuse service fee for all fee-based services, for research, and to contact you about your account when necessary. Your information will not be sold to or shared with other companies or organizations for marketing or advertising purposes without your consent. Once a User agrees to take an item posted on the reseller section of the iReuse Site, the Seller/Donor and Taker’s Email addresses may be shared with one another in order to coordinate the payment and/or exchange of the item posted by the Donor/Seller and committed to being taken by the Taker.
iReuse Online Software
Under no circumstances does iReuse share the data you enter into our online software with third parties in a way that reveals the company or person of origin, unless required by law or litigation. Aggregate data may be published for marketing or research purposes. In this case, all identifying data points would be omitted and irretrievable.
At times we may be required by law or litigation to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary.
Security and Storage
iReuse takes precautions – including administrative, technical, and physical measures – to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. While there is no such thing as “perfect security” on the internet, we will take all reasonable steps to insure the safety of your information.
You can help us by also taking precautions to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often using a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure web browser.

Children (persons under the age of 18) are not eligible to use the Site unsupervised and we ask that children do not submit any personal information to us. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use this Site in conjunction with and under the supervision of your parents or guardians.
